Ahogy az már másokkal is megtörtént, nekem is tinédzser kori szerelemnek indult a gitározás. Gimis blues-rock zenekar, hétvégén próba a garázsban, koncert az iskolai bálon. Aztán 2000-ben – az érettségi után – a “Merre tovább?” kérdésre egyértelmű válasz jött. Elkezdődött az egész napos gyakorlások időszaka, készülés a felvételire, a Kőbányai Zenei Stúdióba. Itt négy tartalmas év következett, még több és egyre többféle zenével. Olyan általam csodált zenészektől tanulhattam, mint Babos Gyula, Halász János, Stark Tibor, Póka Egon, Tornóczky Ferenc, Tóth János Rudolf vagy Victor Máté. Itt már aktívan koncerteztem több zenekarral, elkezdtem tanítani és ami legfontosabb, olyan barátságok szövődtek, amelyek mind a mai napig tartanak, ezzel motorjai több zenekarnak is. 

2007-ben szakvizsgáztam, furcsa volt 19 tanév után többé nem iskolába járni, de a felszabadult időt hamar kitöltötték az újabb és újabb produkciók, a próbák és stúdiómunkák, a tanítványaim, valamint az addigra már évi 100-150 koncert. Sokféle felkészültséget igénylő időszak vette kezdetét, amiből rengeteget tanultam és tanulok még most is, nemcsak zenei oldalról. A legkülönbözőbb zenei szituációkkal találtunk egymásra: ugyanúgy játszottam romkocsmákban és fesztiválokon, mint színházban és jazz klubbokban, live acten DJ-kkel vagy épp pop-produkciók kísérőzenekarában. Zenét írtam rövidfilmhez, reklámfilmhez, tv főcímhez és persze saját magamnak, hangszereltem dalokat és közreműködtem jópár lemezen is. És mindeközben próbáltam ezekben magamat megtalálni, hogy melyik is lehetek én, hiszen mindegyik szituáció csábító, hoz magával valamilyen új élményt, kihívást, tapasztalatot. 

Jelenleg kreatív alkotómunkára van a legnagyobb igényem, ahol igyekszem ezt a sokmindent egy olyan formába gyúrni, ami már az enyém. 

          My passion for the guitar began in my teenage years. It was just one of those things that happened to many of us. High-school blues-rock band, weekend rehearsals in the garage, concert at the school ball. When finished secondary-school in 2000 the answer to the question of where to continue was obvious. A period of all day long practicing and preparation for the entrance exam to Kőbányai Zenei Stúdió began, which was followed by four eventful years there, encountering with more and more kinds of music. I could learn from musicians I admired: Gyula Babos, János Halász, Tibor Stark, Egon Póka, Ferenc Tornóczky, Rudolf János Tóth or Máté Victor. By this time I already had been playing live with several bands and also started to teach. However, the most important of all of these experiences was the friendships made there, lasting up until these days, providing the driving force for several bands I am affiliated with.

I graduated in 2007, it was an odd feeling not to attend to school after 19 years, but the available free-time was quickly filled with new productions, rehearsals, session-works, students and 100-150 concerts per year by that time.
This also meant the beginning of a new era which required diverse qualifications. I have been constantly learning a lot since then and not only from a musical perspective.
I’ve been involved in various musical situations. While playing in ruin pubs and festivals I also participated in theaters, jazz clubs, performed live acts with DJs or contributed to pop productions. I have written music to short-films, TV adverts, theme songs and of course to myself. I also orchestrated songs and was featured on several records. In the midst of these I attempted to find myself and figure out which of these should define me, though all of these situations are tempting, bring new challenges and experiences.

Currently I prefer creative work where I am trying to incorporate everything I have learnt into a form that reflects my personality.
